SAE International 2018 Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technologies Symposium Announces Program Lineup
WARRENDALE, Pa. (PRWEB) January 17, 2018 -- SAE International is pleased to announce the details for this year’s program at the SAE 2018 Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technologies Symposium taking place at the Doubletree Hotel San Diego Mission Valley in California on Feb. 20-22, 2018. This event is the source for current and forward-looking hybrid and electric vehicle technology advances, providing industry developments from prominent representatives of OEM and supplier companies.
The event will kick off on Tuesday, Feb. 20 with keynote speaker, Mary Nichols, Chairman of the California Air Resources Board. Nichols was reappointed Chairman of the California Air Resources Board by Governor Jerry Brown in January 2011, a post she previously held under Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger from 2007 to 2010 and under Governor Brown (during his first tenure) from 1979 to 1983. At ARB she is responsible for implementing California's landmark greenhouse gas emissions legislation as well as setting air pollution standards for motor vehicles, fuels and consumer products.
The day will continue with discussion surrounding vehicle electrification policy and market. Other topics discussed that day include autonomous electrified vehicles, electrified vehicle infrastructure and V2X. Speakers include:
