Greenberg Traurig’s Scott M. Grossman To Speak At ABI’s 42nd Annual Alexander L. Paskay Memorial Bankruptcy Seminar

Grossman, a Restructuring & Bankruptcy shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., will speak at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) 42nd Annual Alexander L. Paskay Memorial Bankruptcy Seminar Friday, Jan. 19, in Tampa. Grossman’s talk, “Clash of the Codes: Bankruptcy Tax Issues Made Simple,” will be the featured topic during the Business Section of this year’s seminar.
The Alexander L. Paskay Memorial Bankruptcy Seminar features prominent regional and national speakers joined by 12 bankruptcy judges to discuss both commercial and consumer bankruptcy issues. Greenberg Traurig Restructuring & Bankruptcy Shareholder Danielle Kemp is also a member of the seminar’s advisory board.
Grossman is an experienced bankruptcy/restructuring attorney and litigator, with a tax background. He represents distressed companies, debtors, trustees, secured and unsecured creditors, landlords, official committees, defendants in avoidance actions, and purchasers of distressed assets. Grossman also litigates and advises clients on bankruptcy tax issues, Florida’s homestead exemption, and fraudulent transfer and preference claims.
Kemp focuses her practice on bankruptcy and commercial litigation. She possesses multidisciplinary bankruptcy experience, representing debtors, trustees, and creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters, and litigating numerous bankruptcy claims, adversary proceedings, and preference actions. Kemp also advises on a wide range of civil litigation matters, representing clients at the trial and appellate levels in commercial lease disputes, commercial loan disputes and foreclosures, garnishments, business tort litigation, and qui tam cases.
