Medigram Hires Notable Health System IT Leader as VP of Technology
LOS GATOS, Calif. (PRWEB) January 17, 2018 -- Medigram, a revolutionary healthcare event management and messaging platform company, today announced that Health IT veteran Dean Shold has been named as its VP of Technology. In this role, Shold has responsibility for all technical operations, implementation, delivery capabilities, and customer success activities including data center operations, field engineering, and customer support. Dean Shold has been intensely advising Medigram since 2014 prior to now coming on board as VP of Technology. Shold will report directly to Sherri Douville, President and CEO for Medigram.
Ms. Douville said, "Dean has unmatched insight into both the technical and governance challenges facing hospitals. His track record as CTO for Stanford Health Care in building a command center based on FEMA's (Federal Emergency Management Agency) guidelines and delivering 7X24 support and 99.99+% availability in service of patient care is critical to our mission of saving lives and driving hospital revenues. We are immensely honored to be working in a shared leadership model with Dean."
Shold previously led a team that included data sciences, data operations, global customer support, and advanced implementation engineering for dozens of international clients.
"As an advisor I got to help shape the current Medigram Enterprise system which has been engineered for extremely high volumes and tolerant of many types of network and communication failures, thereby making it the most reliable and resilient application of its kind. I look forward to helping lead Medigram into its next stage of growth," said Shold. "Medigram's integration of data science, communication, and workflow optimized for mobile in complicated network environments will be critical factors to driving hospital revenues and saving lives."
Dean’s background in leading health system technology operations and strategy paired with implementation and customer success expertise in a Startup environment is truly unique.
"We are thrilled to welcome Dean and his extraordinary background in leading the design and implementation of Health IT and SaaS delivery capabilities. His tremendous knowledge and experience as CTO for a top academic medical center paired with his Startup and consulting leadership experiences driving customer success and IT operations make him the perfect complement to Medigram's leadership. I am particularly excited about our team's shared vision for Medigram and passion for innovation." ---Medigram Board Chair Wim Roelandts
