The weather during January, February and March is volatile and unpredictable, but having a party, celebration or outing at a paint your own pottery studio is always fun and memorable!
(PRWEB) January 23, 2018
As the calendar flips to 2018 and temperatures continue to drop, party planners who don’t want to catch Mother Nature or Old Man Winter on a bad day are focusing on indoor options — and the Contemporary Ceramic Studios Association (CCSA) wants them to know that a paint your own pottery (PYOP) studio is the ideal destination.
“Party planners are often unheralded individuals who spend an enormous amount of time trying to make sure that all guests have a fun and safe experience,” commented Dena Pearlman, CCSA's executive director. “Unfortunately, in the winter months it doesn’t take long before a clear day turns cold, windy and in many parts of the country, snowy and icy — which makes outdoor activities unsafe or impossible to enjoy. That’s never a risk when the party is at a paint your own pottery studio!”
According to the CCSA, the key reasons that PYOP studios are ideal for winter
birthdays, bridal and baby showers, anniversaries, work and church outings, and all other celebrations include:
- Paint your own pottery studios are family-friendly environments that are fun, delightful and safe for people of all ages — from young children attending a classmate’s birthday party, to senior citizens on a group outing, and everyone in between.
- Party planners can schedule a variety of creative activities for guests, including (but not limited to) pottery painting, canvas, clay hand building, jewelry making, glass fusing, candle making, and board art. All materials are supplied, and no artistic background is required. Party planners can also collaborate with paint your own pottery studio owners to create a customized theme (e.g. “girl’s night out,” etc.).
- All activities take place in a comfortable, climate-controlled indoor environment. Even if it is rainy, snowy or frigid outside, the temperature inside is always perfect.
Added Pearlman: “The weather during January, February and March is volatile and unpredictable, but having a party, celebration or outing at a paint your own pottery studio is always fun and memorable!”
