AltaReturn Expands Leadership Team With New Hires
(PRWEB) January 22, 2018 -- AltaReturn, the leading provider of integrated software solutions for the Private Equity, Venture, Real Estate and Family Office communities, today announced the addition of two new members to the company's management team - Andre Boreas as Director of Marketing and Mike Durik as Chief Financial Officer.
Andre will be charged with overseeing the communication of AltaReturn’s value proposition to the private capital and family office markets. He previously worked for Intralinks, where he led all product marketing and strategy initiatives for the alternative investments division. He started his career at Thomson Financial and worked at Abbott Capital, a private equity fund-of-funds as well as at PFM Advisors, an institutional investment consulting firm where he oversaw all investment research activities. In addition, Andre was a senior member at an institutionally focused fund-of-hedge funds. Before joining Intralinks, Andre was the Chief Investment Officer at a NYC-based family office. Andre has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Villanova University and an Master of Science in Information Systems from Drexel University. He is a member of the CFA Institute.
Mike will oversee all financial reporting for the firm and will be working closely with the senior management team to ensure the company is meeting its financial, operational and strategic objectives. He most recently worked as an investment banker in Macquarie Capital’s Financial Institutions Group, specializing in the financial technology sector. He started his career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers working on banking and capital markets clients focusing on internal controls, third party assurance reports, as well as public and private company financial audits. Mike earned his Master of Business Administration from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He completed his undergraduate studies at Villanova University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration. Mike is also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.
