Shady Grove Fertility Atlanta Physicians to Host Free Monthly Fertility Seminars in 2018
ATLANTA (PRWEB) January 19, 2018 -- Shady Grove Fertility Atlanta, formerly Georgia Reproductive Specialists—the third largest IVF practice in the Atlanta-metro region—will be hosting free seminars on the second Wednesday of each month throughout 2018 for individuals and couples who are interested in learning more about their fertility options and overcoming infertility.
SGF Atlanta Physicians, Drs. Mark Perloe, Anne Namnoum, and Desireé McCarthy-Keith, will cover a variety of topics throughout the year, including an overview of infertility basics from diagnosing to treating infertility to how SGF Atlanta makes care affordable through its unique financial programs. In addition, the SGF Atlanta physicians will host seminars designed specifically for LGBT family building and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which is the most common ovulatory disorder in women of reproductive age.
Dr. Mark Perloe, who is one of the country’s leading physician advocates for women and girls with PCOS, comments, “The goal of our PCOS seminar is to educate women about PCOS and inform them that they can get pregnant with PCOS by making lifestyle changes such as modest weight loss coupled with low-tech infertility treatment or medication.”
Seminar attendees who are new patients to the practice will receive a credit of $250 that can be applied toward their new patient consult at an SGF Atlanta location. An additional $250 credit will be applied to the cost of one cycle of in vitro fertilization (IVF), should the need arise. Credits are not available for insurance-covered services.
