gen-E, a leader in Network and IT Management software and services, today announced expansion into Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), after two years of momentous growth in North America. Through an investment in new regional headquarters, new hires, and strategic international alliances, gen-E will meet increased global demand for its solutions and services from enterprises across the globe.
“Today’s IT and Network Operations landscape calls for a unique and innovative approach that leverages standards-based best practices,” said Marc Hayden, gen-E CEO. “Our expansion into EMEA puts gen-E’s vast experience in service and event management systems implementations into a market that is demanding more from their
operations,” added Hayden.
Leading the expansion is Rhett Williams, President, gen-E, EMEA, who will leverage his experience founding and operating high-technology companies to open gen-E’s new EMEA headquarters in Ireland, and other locations later in the year.
Williams is an accomplished leader in strategic management. Over the past 28 years, Rhett has held various executive positions in EMEA and the US for high-tech and telecommunications companies, including AT&T and KPN, as well as co-founding a global managed security software and services company.
“I’m excited to be joining gen-E during a time of rapid growth. Our goal is to help companies optimize their operational support systems,” said Williams. “Bringing this value to clients in EMEA will ensure that global enterprises receive market-leading service assurance products built specifically for complex environments combined with the round-the-clock support that service-oriented companies require.”
