Vya to Serve Up Localized Marketing Support for Kona Ice Franchisees

Vya, a leading provider of simplified marketing execution for distributed organizations, today announced it has been selected to provide localized marketing and print production services to Kona Ice, the popular shaved ice truck franchise organization with more than 800 mobile franchisees nationwide.

Kona Ice will implement Vya’s marketing resource management system and print production services to efficiently print, fulfill, and track localized marketing materials, making it easier for franchisees to execute marketing campaigns at the local level. Franchisees will benefit from access to the user-friendly Vya system which enables:

  • Email marketing customized by franchisee, with detailed reporting
  • Data management for more targeted marketing campaigns
  • Print production and execution, including customization and printing of approved marketing materials
  • Efficient fulfillment of custom requests for marketing support, using in-system approval tracking
  • Franchisee training and ongoing support from a dedicated Vya account manager

Kona Ice has re-invented the traditional ice cream truck, serving up shaved ice in hundreds of flavor combinations from its colorful Kona Entertainment Vehicles with shiny chrome wheels and tropical steel drum music. In addition to its refreshing shaved ice treats, Kona is known for giving back to the local communities it serves, donating more than $42 million to local communities since launching in 2007, through fundraisers for schools, sports teams, playgrounds and other local causes.
