ATLANTA (PRWEB) January 24, 2018 -- Itential, an innovator in network automation solutions, today announced Josh Stephens has joined the leadership team as the chief strategy officer. In his new role, Stephens will guide the company’s overall strategy and lead Itential’s marketing efforts.
Stephens joins Itential at a pivotal time as the company takes its products, which today automate processes in some of the world’s largest networks, and makes them available to enterprises of all sizes. In doing so, Itential is enabling network operations teams everywhere to evolve to a DevOps-style, agile approach to operations known as NetOps.
With more than 25 years of experience of driving growth in networking and software industries, Stephens is poised to accelerate the adoption and expansion of Itential’s innovative network automation solutions.
Stephens is one of the founding members of SolarWinds, an IT management software company, where he led various parts of the organization including strategy, engineering, and technical sales, and also served as the original “Head Geek.” Most recently, Stephens served as chief strategy officer at Idera Software. Prior to SolarWinds he spent several years with International Network Services (INS) and the United States Air Force. Stephens started working with Itential as an investor and operating advisor through Elsewhere Partners, a growth-stage venture capital firm that recently made the first outside investment in Itential.
“While working with Itential through Elsewhere Partners, I realized the company was onto something very exciting that I wanted to be a bigger part of,” said Stephens. “What Itential is doing to transform the network automation space is truly unique and exhilarating. Our technology runs in some of the world’s largest, most demanding networks. Today, our solutions enable the type of advanced network operations agility and automation that many companies believed would only be available in the future.”
“We are delighted to have Josh join our executive team. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise to support Itential as we revolutionize how companies perform network operations,” said Itential President and CEO Ian Bresnahan. “His passion, deep networking and technology experience, and proven track record in taking companies through high-growth periods will be instrumental as we enable organizations everywhere to realize the true power of network automation and revolutionize their NetOps practices.”
Itential will exhibit its solutions at NANOG 72, Feb. 20th, 2018 in Atlanta, Ga.
