Immersive Three-Day Experience Offers Entrepreneurs Opportunity to Launch New Ventures

Entrepreneurs will gather in Phoenix, Feb. 16-18 for Techstars Startup Weekend. The 54-hour event will be held at The Department co-working space located at 1 North 1st Street #600 in Phoenix, Ariz. Techstars Startup Weekend will begin Feb. 16 at 5 p.m. and end at 3 p.m., Feb. 18.

Early-bird registration before Jan.26 is $55 and $35 for students. Prices go up on Jan. 27 to $75. Registration fee includes six meals and snacks throughout the weekend event. Interested individuals can learn more or register via EventBrite.

Techstars Startup Weekend brings together designers, developers, marketers and startup enthusiasts from across the state and beyond to share ideas, form teams and launch business ventures. Participants select ideas with the most promise and make as much progress on the business as possible over the course of three days. In addition, business leaders and mentors are on hand to share insights and experience.

Startup Weekend, powered by Google for Entrepreneurs, is part of the Techstars family of programs. Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event that allows anyone to build a company in a weekend and turn an idea into reality. The event starts on Friday evening when participants pitch ideas. The participants then form teams around the top ideas and spend the rest of the weekend validating and building their idea, aided by local mentors. On Sunday evening, teams come together and pitch their newly-launched company to a panel of judges.
