Yamaha Unveils Second Generation Vizzutti Trumpet For Professional and Elite Orchestral Performers
ANAHEIM (PRWEB) January 25, 2018 -- Yamaha today launched the YTR-9335VSII, a limited edition, second-generation Vizzutti model trumpet that was designed in consultation with the world-renowned trumpet virtuoso, Allen Vizzutti.
Because of Vizzutti's incredibly broad range of styles and techniques, this trumpet speaks all musical languages and is designed for the musician who requires the highest level of performance in all settings, all genres and all styles of music.
Building on the reputation of the previous model, the highly-regarded YTR-9335VS, the YTR-9335VSII features brass piston stems and resin valve guides that allow players to execute the very fast passages that Vizzutti is known for. It also has an upgraded leadpipe, improved bell design and square-style bend for more color and tonal balance across the sound spectrum. The lightweight valve casing and new piston alloy offer a natural, crisp response. Striking black mother of pearl finger buttons and gold-plated top and bottom valve caps provide a classic look.
"The demands of my solo and recording career embrace myriad styles," said Vizzutti. "Whether soaring in the upper range or singing a beautiful melody, my fabulous Yamaha 9335VSII Vizzutti model Bb trumpet gives me the confidence and comfort to perform consistently and at my best. From classical music to jazz and everything in between, the 9335VSII continues to prove itself to be the best Bb trumpet I have ever had."
"Premium talent requires premium level instruments and the Vizzutti model trumpet fulfills the need for a maximally-flexible, virtuosic instrument," said Brian Petterson, marketing manager, wind instruments, Yamaha Corporation of America.
"We believe demand will be very high with professional trumpet players, high school and college-level students and amateur hobbyists because of the Vizzutti trumpet's flexibility, clear high register, nuanced sound character and evenness of intonation. This allows top performers to be more expressive for a greater personal connection with the instrument and a more meaningful artistic connection with the audience. The top-quality craftsmanship and virtuosic capabilities combine with consistent Yamaha quality to allow talented performers to play at the highest level."
