eMDs, a leading provider of ambulatory electronic health records (EHR), practice management (PM) software, revenue cycle management services (RCM), and credentialing services, today announced the appointment of Scott Rongo to its newly created role of Chief Experience Officer. The position will play a pivotal role as the company looks to scale operations and expand customer success programs during this time of high growth.

Rongo, reporting to the CEO, will lead the company’s customer strategy and execution. His mandate will be to design, orchestrate, and improve customer experiences across eMDs complex range of customer interactions - helping eMDs continue to improve customer satisfaction and retention, accelerate growth, and focus priorities for an ever-changing competitive environment.

Scott most recently worked at ACTIVE Network as the Vice President of Global Sales & Account Management. Prior to his move to Active Network, Scott had been consulting with Physicians and Health Systems on innovative technology and service solutions for over 15 years. He started his career with a value added reseller in Indianapolis, IN focused on Practice Management and ancillary systems for independent providers. In 2006, Scott joined McKesson where he would eventually be a senior sales and business leader within the Business Performance Services (BPS) division driving customer success and consistently exceeding bookings, revenue and profitability metrics year over year.
