Tessella has been selected by international energy company, Statoil, to deliver data science services. The three-year framework agreement covers analytics and artificial intelligence services and will play an essential role in the realisation of Statoil’s ambitious digitalisation programme.

Digitalisation is an essential part of Statoil's strategy. It will help Statoil produce oil and gas more effectively, with lower greenhouse gas emissions, be a leader in carbon capture and storage, and invest substantially in renewable energy.

Ray Hall, Sector Director for Energy, Tessella, said: “Statoil has already embarked on their digitalisation journey. We are excited that they have chosen Tessella to join them.
