With the latest release of its self-service data preparation software, Rapid Insight is the first to market with a technology that writes to Tableau’s newly-released “Hyper” data engine. Veera is Rapid Insight’s widely utilized data preparation technology, which allows users to access and utilize any data, in any format, and transform it into reports, analyses, analytic datasets and visualizations. Tableau is the market leader in the visual analytics space.

A longtime partner of Tableau, Rapid Insight provides Tableau customers with a way to quickly build repeatable data preparation processes that push data into Tableau. “As Tableau customers take advantage of the power of Hyper, we are excited to see our innovative partner, Rapid Insight, embrace our new in-memory data engine technology,” said Todd Talkington, Director of Technology Partnerships at Tableau. “The ability to auto-generate Hyper files from within Veera enables seamless integration with Tableau 10.5.
