I am very pleased to add executives of this caliber to the Rootstock management team,” said Patrick Garrehy, CEO of Rootstock. “Their appointments come at time when Rootstock is expanding its market share and adding employees at a rapid rate.

Rootstock Software, the leading cloud manufacturing and supply chain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution provider on the Salesforce Platform, today announced the appointments of Randy Wheeler as Managing Director and Mark Saliman as VP of Finance. The San Ramon-based company is experiencing unprecedented growth in new customers in addition to the recent acquisition of Kenandy Inc., a developer of cloud ERP software.

“I am very pleased to add executives of this caliber to the Rootstock management team,” said Patrick Garrehy, CEO of Rootstock. “Their appointments come at time when Rootstock is expanding its market share and adding employees at a rapid rate. Randy and Mark are well respected veterans of the software industry and bring considerable expertise to the team that will help us scale and grow. We are looking forward to their contributions as executives and leaders during this exciting stage of our company.”

Wheeler is joining the company as Managing Director of the Kenandy business unit, managing development, consulting, support and customer success. He has 30 years of experience in the technology industry, serving most recently as CEO of Valley Oak Systems, which was acquired by AON. Prior to Valley Oak, Randy held positions in sales, development and client services for companies including Marathon Systems, Saddlebrook, and Grid Systems. In 2004, Randy was awarded the Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur Of The Year” in the “Realizing Business Potential” category. “I’m delighted to be joining a company that shares my views and commitment to customer success,” said Wheeler. “The company is positioned perfectly to capitalize on the move to the cloud by manufacturers and distributors. We are committed to helping them make the transition to the cloud with the right products, superior services and world class support.”

Saliman, who was formerly the Controller for Kenandy for nearly five years, is joining the company as VP of Finance. Saliman has extensive financial and operational experience in high-growth technology companies, serving as CFO at organizations such as CrestPoint Solutions, Coaxsys, Inc., UltraCell Corporation and Chiron, in addition to a role as a business unit CFO at PacBell. Saliman recognized the potential of the Salesforce Platform for ERP while serving as an advisor to the founders of Kenandy when the company was first being formed. “We are at an inflection point where manufacturers and distributors are shedding their legacy ERP en masse,” said Saliman. “Rootstock is incredibly well positioned for this market with a robust set of ERP applications on the leading cloud platform. I’m looking forward to helping the company grow, scale and capitalize on this extraordinary market opportunity.”
