“Success Files,” hosted by Rob Lowe, features new content on the Benefits of Local Natural Honey for PBS member stations
(PRWEB) January 29, 2018 -- Rob Lowe is a well known American actor who is currently the host of “Success Files.” On this episode of “Success Files,” the focus will be on the benefits of natural honey for PBS member stations.
There are over forty different types of honey with each having a unique taste and attribute. It may not be easy to distinguish between pure honey and artificial one, but a simple water test can do the trick. Simply fill a clear cup with water then add a spoon of honey. Pure honey will not dissolve in the water while the artificial one will.
Local natural honey can be used to treat allergies. Allergies come about when you ingest pollen. Because pollen is foreign to the body, then one starts experiencing coughs, sore throat, headaches, sneezing or a running nose. So when you take a spoonful of honey, your body produces antibodies that fight the pollen.
Due to its antibacterial nature, natural honey can also be used to treat acne. It does this by preventing the bacteria that causes pimples and boils from growing. Honey helps to remove wounds such as burns and sores because of its anti-inflammatory nature.
Natural honey can be used as a source of energy. Professional athletes use honey before and after practice to provide them with natural sugar. Furthermore, there is still extensive research being carried out on how honey helps with preventing cancer.
More content on this episode of the benefits of local natural honey with Rob Lowe will be availed on Public Televisions and PBS member stations.
