“Broken Vessel”: an inspiring book about breakthroughs from life struggles that can only be made possible if a man calls out to the Lord. “Broken Vessel” is the creation of published author, Anna Maria Thomas, an excellent volunteer for community affairs, a prayer warrior, and a proud parent of three sons.

Thomas shares, “Our thinking must change from old, ungodly ways, what we know in our minds to be true forms of conviction in our hearts. The only way to replace the error of the world’s way of thinking is to replace it with God’s truth (Bible); there are no shortcuts for renewing our minds, we must fill our minds with God’s word as Jesus prayed to the father, sanctify them in the truth. Your word is truthful in renewing our minds; we have to take full control over our thoughts with the word of God. Jesus in the wilderness responded to each of Satan’s temptations with scriptures that applied to the directions he knew his mind should take instead of beginning down the path of sinful thought. We have to recognize deception and how the devil uses it in the lives of men; some find it offensive when leaders preach on sin, and they will leave the ministry because now you have tapped into their business. Scripture said to cry loud spare not show my people their transgression. We are not to compromise the word of God to increase riches; we are to be soul winners to Christ with the mind of Christ.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Anna Maria Thomas’s new book emphasizes that a sincerely repentant heart will run not into fellow men, but to Jesus Christ, taking up the cross and following him as a believer of the wonderful Redeemer.

People should also confess their sins to the Lord, not to mere mortals who cannot save others from the consequences of wrongdoings. Choosing not to admit one’s sins to God also means letting these sins take hold and destroy one’s soul.
