Beau Mann, CEO of Sober Grid, Joins InvestAcure Advisory Board
NEW YORK (PRWEB) January 29, 2018 -- Beau Mann, CEO of Sober Grid, a social recovery networking app, announces today that he is now an advisory board member of InvestAcure. The online investment platform brings together spare change investors to power the search for an Alzheimer's cure, by investing money in clinical trials and testing. Mann has joined the advisory board to utilize his background in healthcare technology to create positive social change and help find a cure for this incurable disease.
According to the Alzheimer’s Association, more than five million Americans are living with the disease, which is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States. Every 66 seconds someone in the US develops the disease, but unfortunately there hasn’t been any success in finding a cure.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join an innovative team that is coming together to invest in a cure for this deadly disease,” says Mann. “InvestAcure is bringing together those impacted most by Alzheimer’s and is creating a community of people who share the same passion, allowing these consumers to become investors, leading towards a cure. As the founder of an app bringing together those passionate about maintaining sobriety, I see the positive effects of creating supportive communities through technology and it works.”
InvestAcure enables those impacted by Alzheimer's to partner in the search for a cure by rounding-up day-to-day transactions and investing the spare change in clinical stage pharmaceuticals working on promising drugs. This helps transition investment leadership from a narrow group of high-risk investors to a much larger and stable investment base, leading to more clinical trials, more drugs and drug combinations tested and progress to a cure.
