Get Real Health Develops App for Baby Health
ROCKVILLE, Md. (PRWEB) January 30, 2018 -- Get Real Health, together with TELUS Health, has put cutting-edge app technology to work for new and expecting parents enabling them to give their babies a healthy start from day one. The TELUS Baby Health app is a user-friendly, direct-to-consumer mobile app for iOS and Android that creates a digital health record to track a baby’s development and milestones. The app keeps all health information in one place and pushes important age-appropriate educational content and tips to parents supporting them in a baby’s first 18 months.
The app will help parents:
- Easily manage their baby’s health history, development and milestones.
- Access their baby’s health records on the go so they can refer to the information during doctor visits or at the pharmacy.
- Learn from personalized baby-care articles and tips, including baby recipes and videos.
- Track and store their baby’s health records.

Powered by Get Real Health’s patient engagement platform, InstantPHR®, and data aggregation platform, CHBase™, the app will enable parents to enter the due date of the baby even if the name and date of birth are still unknown (or birth date after the baby is born). The parent will then be sent push notifications through the app nudging the parent to update their baby’s information so they can receive information tailored to their baby’s gender and age.
The app is available as a free download in the Apple App Store and on Google Play. Through a partnership with The Baby Box Company, a global organization that empowers new parents with access to free education, resources and products essential to ensuring babies have a healthy start, TELUS will also share the app with more Canadian parents via Baby Boxes. The boxes contain useful baby products and other educational resources to support the journey into parenthood.
