“In a world of so much cover-up and denial of experience this book is so refreshing. If you have a story and if you have gone through challenging days, you will find this book inspirational and confirming.” --Deniece London
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Deniece’s new book is a personal story about perseverance.
Author Deniece London struggled as a child without a father. She was raised by a single mother who was sent to prison. She suffered from depression, which only intensified as she avoided her problems with drugs and bad relationships. Through it all, however, Deniece kept a journal of all the obstacles she faced where she captured her desire to change her life. Eventually, Deniece rededicated her life to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She followed His lead to become a high school teacher at a low-income area school where she assisted the youth in their struggles.
While traveling around the world, Deniece wrote “A Child Prepared to Teach.” It is a compilation of true, and raw, stories from her perspective. She spares none of the painful detail as brings readers into her life. Through major family dramas and moves from one state to another in a vain quest to find stability, Deniece persevered. Perseverance is the theme of her life and her book. She hopes her story can transform people’s lives through the love, redemption, and hope of Jesus Christ.
