Greenberg Traurig’s Shaun Staller Elected To Equality Forum’s Board Of Directors
PHILADELPHIA (PRWEB) January 29, 2018 -- Shaun K. Staller, an attorney at international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, was recently elected to Equality Forum’s Board of Directors. A non-profit organization, Equality Forum is focused on the advancement of national and international lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) civil rights with an educational emphasis.
According to its website, Equality Forum collaborates with learning institutions, professional associations, research centers, for-profit companies, and other non-profits to create high-impact and educational events. The non-profit is most well-known for its coordination of LGBT History Month, producing documentaries, and hosting the largest annual national and international LGBT civil rights summit. More recently, Equality Forum has been working on projects to have important LGBTQ figures honored with historical markers throughout the City of Philadelphia and to increase millennial engagement in the queer community.
In addition to being a board member for Equality Forum, Shaun also serves as a board committee member for FringeAxis, the Young Friends of FringeArts. FringeArts, located in Philadelphia, supports contemporary performances including genre-defying dance, theatre, and music.
Shaun is a multilingual attorney who focuses his practice on U.S. immigration matters. Before law school, he worked as a public policy and media professional, helping entities to build coalitions on the ground and to achieve their legislative goals throughout Pennsylvania.
