On Saturday, January 20, one of America’s most famous brides-to-be, Rachel Lindsay, star of ABC’s “The Bachelorette” and Wedspire, the go-to digital wedding marketplace, welcomed excited engaged couples to Wedspiration 2018. An evening of wedding planning inspiration and interactive events, Wedspire kicked off the 2018 wedding season with its premier Wedspiration at The Ebell of Los Angeles. Lindsay helped showcase Wedspire’s newest feature, shoppable inspiration boards, as well as hosted a Q&A to discuss her personal wedding planning journey through the platform.

Wedspire is a curated marketplace for all of a couple’s wedding planning needs. By first taking the site’s Style Quiz, users are connected with vendors and wedding inspiration based upon their personal answers. No more stressful searches or scouring the web for wedding vendors. Users are able to book vendors and shop directly from an inspiration feed of shoppable matches and real wedding inspiration stories. By transforming the painstaking process of searching and vetting vendors, Wedspire has combined the most innovative tools to allow newly engaged couples to search, save and shop all in one place.

At Wedspiration 2018, southern California’s premier wedding pros showcased their work through interactive stylized displays. Newly engaged couples had the chance to see Wedspire’s digital platform come to life through a variety of wedding day elements, from the ceremony and cocktails to the reception and dancing, all while sipping champagne and enjoying a selection of decadent hors d'oeuvres.

“Having Rachel join us for our first Wedspiration was the perfect partnership,” shared Afeisha James Kipps, CEO of Wedspire. "Rachel personifies who the Wedspire brides and grooms are - Modern, Stylish and Celebrated.” Kipps continues, "We’re thrilled so many couples were able to see Wedspire come to life, as well as experience the new shoppable feature in an engaging and exciting way at this year’s Wedspiration. We can’t wait to do it again! And until then, we look forward to interacting with our couples online and helping them bring their dream wedding vision to life."

During the event, Lindsay, who is set to tie the knot with “The Bachelorette” season 13 winner Bryan Abasolo, shared her personal experience as a bride-to-be, as well as some hints to the details she’s excited for in her upcoming nuptials. Although she hasn’t made any major decisions yet, Lindsay credits Wedspire for providing much of her inspiration. “That’s what’s so great about Wedspire. The style quiz allows you to figure out exactly what you need, and then you have your dream board that actually lets you visualize what your wedding can look like.” According to her red carpet interview with US Weekly at the event, flowers and music are at the top of her wedding planning priority list. “Everyone knows I love to dance. So must-haves for me are a great playlist, a great DJ.” In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, Lindsay hinted that the wedding will take place in 2018 in either Dallas or Columbia with Bryan’s family.
