David Hsieh, a business undergraduate student at the California State University who enjoys culinary arts in the hopes of one day becoming an Iron Chef, has completed his new book “Cal to California”: an evoking cross-country road journey that takes the readers through different perspectives in life.
Author Hsieh shows the wonders of road travel, and how a new environment provokes an ambiance of questions: “This got me thinking, why are we so tied down to our careers? Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I am actually working a job that I enjoy. A thought also came across—just not to worry too much about your job and or next job. Everything will be all right. Everything will fall into place. I know I am about to start a new job after this trip, but what will I be doing in two years? five years? ten years? The realization is that every job that I will receive in the future will be an experience, and that one day I might have to leave that job for something else. The lesson is to not worry and to enjoy your journey; like what we did on this cross-country road trip. Enjoy every moment and grow from the experience. Do not be afraid to fail, instead embrace it and nothing will stop you from going farther.”
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, David Hsieh’s entertaining book follows the author’s escapade together with his pal, as they cross the country and experience the marvels of each state, all while finding inspiration through their travels while taking on new challenges and moving forward.
Readers who wish to experience this amazing work can purchase “Cal to California” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
