LEAD1 Association Heads to Texas for Annual Institute
WASHINGTON (PRWEB) January 31, 2018 -- The LEAD1 Association announced today that they will host their 2018 LEAD1 Institute Monday-Wednesday, July 16-18, on the campus of Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, Texas.
Now In its 19th year, the Institute is the premier mentoring program helping senior administrators prepare to become athletic directors. Participants will learn from veteran Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) athletic directors who serve as faculty for the program and will also have the opportunity to network with top hiring executives from national search firms. The senior administrators chosen to attend are nominated for the three-day event by their respective athletic directors.
The Institute in addition will feature the awarding of minority scholarships by the John McLendon Minority Scholarship Foundation to those who have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities in college sports administration with the potential to advance to an athletic director position.
