New Book Celebrates Prominent Biblical Women and Modern Feminist Figures
NEW YORK (PRWEB) February 26, 2018 -- Author and minister Jacqueline George has recently released her new book, “Women of the Bible and Contemporary Women of Faith,” a feminist take on important female figures from the Bible and contrasts them with female figures of today.
From Eve through Mother Teresa through Oprah and Malala, this book addresses how these women have been change agents in multiple facets of life. These facets include family, politics, and society as a whole.
George’s background as a minister and doctor of biblical studies helps her give a knowledgeable and personal viewpoint on the subject matter.
“In my book, I want to show women as very capable and strong leaders,” the author said. “Some of the biblical women were major agents of change in their day. Women of today can have the same influence.”
For the reader seeking to increase his or her faith in God and develop a closer spiritual walk, “Women of the Bible and Contemporary Women of Faith” is a must-read.
