CENTURY 21 Scheetz and New Penn Financial today announced the formation of a new joint-venture mortgage company, Milestone Home Lending. The partnership gives CENTURY 21 Scheetz the ability to offer its clients a complete array of residential mortgage products, supported by an experienced, onsite lending team.

With nine offices and 375 real estate brokers serving Indianapolis, Bloomington, and the surrounding areas, CENTURY 21 Scheetz is the second largest real estate company in Indiana, the number one CENTURY 21 company in the Indiana/Ohio region, and a top-ten company in the national CENTURY 21 system. New Penn Financial, based in Philadelphia with offices nationwide, is one of the fastest-growing lenders in the United States. The Milestone Home Lending JV operates under the company’s Shelter Mortgage division.

“New Penn understands retail lending, the consumer, and the sense of urgency and certainty needed to make what are often complex transactions easier in today’s world,” said Tracy Hutton, CEO of CENTURY 21 Scheetz. “The team of seasoned loan officers they’ve assembled for Milestone Home Lending—and their ability to leverage the right product for the right buyer—gives our agents confidence that we can offer an exceptional experience for every homebuyer, from start to finish.”

Ed Warrington, President of Milestone Home Lending, joins Milestone from Hallmark Home Mortgage, where he was senior vice president of sales. Warrington has more than 22 years of experience in the home lending industry, including eleven years with PHH Corporation, where during his last 6 years he served as National Sales Director for the CENTURY 21 brand.

“Milestone fills a need for real estate offices and builders who want to offer their homebuyers a timely, painless, one-stop experience,” Warrington said. “We can also help financial institutions that may not be licensed for FHA, VA, or USDA products, but would like to provide a complete offering to their clients and increase their opportunities for customer growth and retention,” Warrington said. “We do one thing and we do it well: residential mortgages.”

New Penn Financial operates multiple subsidiaries across the United States, including Shelter Mortgage Company which serves as its Joint Venture Arm.

“New Penn Financial and Shelter Mortgage have consistently demonstrated our ability to produce customer-centric loan programs and recruit experienced loan officers,” said Corey Caster, CEO, Shelter Mortgage. “We’re excited to combine our loan products and expertise with the experienced and knowledgeable team at CENTURY 21 Scheetz. Milestone Home Lending will provide a streamlined, full-service home buying and lending experience for clients throughout the Indianapolis region.”
