Rulon Ball’s Book “So You Think You've Had a Bad Day: The Clogged Drain Story” Is a Collection of Stories of the Author’s Personal Experiences and Others Close to Him
LOGAN, Utah (PRWEB) February 01, 2018 -- Rulon Ball, an avid reader and writer, has completed his new book “So You Think You’ve Had a Bad Day: The Clogged Drain Story: The Clogged Drain Story ”: a laugh-out-loud collection of stories, all are interesting and quote from every-day- characters.
According to Ball, “Over the years, (I have) collected many stories of personal experiences that happened to (myself), (my) mother and father, (my) uncle, Jesse Steele, (my) cousins, Ronald and Jack Steele, as well as some from friends. When (I) was fourteen, (my) mother and sister moved to Paradox, Colorado, to escape a violent, abusive stepfather. It has been a long fifty years (I have) spent collecting and writing these experiences. (I have) changed the names of some of the characters to protect their privacy. Likewise, (I have) changed the names of a few of the locations, also in the interest of protecting privacy. If any names of the characters in this book happen to be the same as that of other living persons, it is purely coincidental, and no harm, embarrassment, or injury is intended to anyone.”
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Rulon Ball’s hilarious work is a collection of a lifetime of stories. All of the stories are written about events that have happened to the author and others close to him.
Ball shares, “So You Think You’ve Had a Bad Day: The Clogged Drain Story: The Clogged Drain Story is about a secretary who was constipated and took a laxative, then went to work not feeling well. When she sits down on the great white throne, it practically explodes under her. The skunk story will make you wish you had a pet skunk that doesn’t stink. My uncle’s mule story is so unique and funny you might fall off your chair. Each one is unique and was chosen because it was extra funny or was in some way exciting or otherwise interesting. The Alzheimer’s story really gives you food for thought. There are no every day, run-of-the-mill experiences. Each one of them will either make readers laugh, cry, or give them something interesting to contemplate.”
