Off the Field Players’ Wives Association Rocks the Runway: A Celebration of Super Bowl LII
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) February 01, 2018 -- Off the Field Players’ Wives Super Bowl Fashion Show will be held at the Galleria in Edina, Minnesota on Friday, February 2, 2018. The 17th annual event celebrates Super Bowl in a toast to wives of current and former NFL players with a large-scale, collaborative charity benefit fashion show. Football and high fashion will collide for this exclusive event offering an array of surprises on the catwalk. Off the Field will showcase the hottest new collections from Galleria Edina retailers in association with fashion producer and international stylist, Grant Whittaker of Grant Whittaker Style. “We are delighted to be in Minnesota for this fabulous event,” said Ericka Lassiter, President of Off the Field. “This will be our 17th Annual Players’ Wives Fashion Show during Super Bowl week. We look forward to seeing everyone and raising funds that will directly support The Women’s Foundation of Minnesota and Off the Field Players’ Wives Association. The event is fun, memorable and most importantly gives back to the local community.”
With an exciting event programmed, the celebration will kick off on Thursday, February 1st with Off the Field’s Welcome Soiree, an invitation-only, sponsored event at Queen Anna House of Fashion. This fabulous boutique is owned by Nicole Jennings, a member of Off the Field and wife of NFL veteran and Sports Analyst Greg Jennings. A meet and greet reception will also take place prior to the fashion show on Friday, February 2 nd , from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. “We are thrilled to host the Off the Field Players’ Wives Association Fashion Show at Galleria,” said Wendy Eisenberg, General Manager, Galleria Edina. “Galleria is the perfect match for this event — high fashion combined with a remarkable cause.”
Off the Field’s 2018 Woman of Impact Award recipient is philanthropist and influencer, Dionne Boldin, wife of Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year, Anquan Boldin. The Woman of Impact Award is awarded to an individual who has shown continued dedication to causes committed to community service & philanthropy. The Danielle Beverly Courage Award will be presented to Terri Upshaw, widow of Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Executive Director of the NFLPA, the late Gene Upshaw.
Expect to see members of the Professional Football Hall of Fame, retired and current NFL players, and a host of celebrity guests. Off the Field is the National Football Players’ Wives Association comprised of talented and diverse wives of active and retired professional football players.
