ChopChop Kids and Bob’s Red Mill Team Up to Improve Nutritional Literacy
BELMONT, Mass. (PRWEB) January 31, 2018 -- ChopChop Kids, the non-profit behind the award-winning ChopChop: The Fun Cooking Magazine for Families has partnered with Bob’s Red Mill, the leading provider of whole grain and gluten-free foods, to expand its ability to inspire and teach children and families to cook real food together. Through this partnership, Bob’s Red Mill is joining ChopChop in its belief that cooking and eating together is critical to every family’s health and happiness, as well as a vital component in resolving the widespread problems of obesity, hunger and poor nutrition.
“We are pleased to partner with ChopChop Magazine as their mission aligns with ours in encouraging people to take the time to prepare and eat whole foods resulting in healthier, more productive lives,” explains Lori Sobelson, Bob’s Red Mill Director of Corporate Outreach. “This is especially true with children for proper development during their adolescent years. ChopChop Kids is a wonderful magazine that provides fun, creative and healthy recipes for the entire family to enjoy!”
Through this partnership, ChopChop will be able to reach more families with its healthy cooking and eating message through distribution of ChopChop Magazines to communities in need. Bob’s Red Mill will also provide copies of ChopChop Magazine to several Oregon-based organizations dedicated to promoting childhood nutrition. In addition, ChopChop will share tips and recipes featuring whole grains at cooking classes at the ChopChop Test Kitchen, local events and on social media channels throughout the year.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Bob’s Red Mill to educate families about the benefits of cooking and eating real food together,” said Sally Sampson, ChopChop Founder. “Bob’s Red Mill commitment to providing quality ingredients and taking care of one another is evident in everything they do. And we are honored to be a part of it.”
