Sensato Cybersecurity Solutions Introduces Cybersecurity Last Line of Defense
RED BANK, N.J. (PRWEB) February 06, 2018 -- Sensato Cybersecurity Solutions is introducing Sensato-Nightingale, a cybersecurity solution designed by cyber attackers to catch cyber attackers. Sensato-Nightingale is a combination of a honeypot, forensic collection tool and countermeasures platform. Nightingale is designed to compliment current first tier cybersecurity tools by providing a simple, yet highly effective, cause and effect approach to breach detection.
"When we first started to design Nightingale, we spent a lot of time asking ourselves as attackers, what scares us? It wasn't anti-virus, firewalls, intrusion detection or end-point protection. The name Sensato-Nightingale is based on the nightingale floor, designed by the Samurai of feudal Japan to warn them of intruders. When asked about the lore behind the product, Lee Eames, Senior Software Engineer on the Nightingale team, stated, "It is interesting that we now live in a cyber world where the rings of defense we have deployed across networks, are like the rings of defense relied upon to protect a Samurai's castle. As it was in the days of the Samurai, and as it is today, those defenses are not getting the job done. The Samurai's castles incorporated a myriad of defenses and, yet their last line of defense was the nightingale floor. We view Sensato-Nightingale in very much the same light, your last line of defense."
