Icon Building Group Donates Sale of Million Dollar Home to Homes for Wounded Warriors
(PRWEB) February 04, 2018 -- Icon Building Group, a custom home builder and remodeler, is building a home and donating the proceeds of its sale to the Homes for Wounded Warriors Project. The home, situated in Long Meadow Farms, in Long Grove, IL, is expected to sell for more than $1 million.
“It’s truly an honor to help support men and women who have given so much to our country,” said Charlie Murphy, CEO of Icon Building Group. “The Wounded Warrior Project provides many essential services to those who have served. We’re very proud to support them.”
Jared Allen’s Home for Wounded Warriors Project (JAH4WW) was formed in October of 2009 by Carolina Panthers defensive end Jared Allen after he returned home from his USO trip to US Military Bases in the Middle East. Jared was moved by the commitment, dedication, and sacrifices that our soldiers make every day to protect our freedom and wanted to find a way to thank the soldiers. By embracing the conflict and making a positive life-changing difference in the lives of those who need it most, Jared and his JAH4WW help make life for wounded vets just a little bit easier.
The sale of Icon Building Group’s million-dollar home will go directly to the JAH4WW foundation which raises money to build and remodel handicap accessible homes to suit the individual needs of injured United States military veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Icon Building Group is donating its time toward the management of the project. Many of the subcontractors working on the home are also donating their labor and materials to make the donated home a reality. The home will have all of the amenities one would expect to find in a luxury home, located in a high-end community.
The home is expected to be completed by the end of June 2018. Those interested in learning more about this home, as well as Icon Building Group’s other upcoming/past projects can visit the company’s website at https://www.icon-group.com/, Facebook, or Google+ Page.
