Higher Education Resource Ranks 50 Best Online Colleges in the U.S. for 2018 has issued its list of the 50 Best Online Colleges in the U.S. for 2017-2018. After a thorough comparison of program offerings, efficacy and affordability, the top five programs ranked include Northern Arizona University, the University of Alabama, Judson College, Siena Heights University and North Carolina State University at Raleigh.

To be considered for the 50 Best Online Colleges ranking on, schools have to meet certain criteria. Basic requirements stipulate that all schools must be accredited public or private not-for-profit institutions with annual in-state tuitions below $25,000. Each school must also offer a minimum of ten online bachelor’s or master’s degrees.
