The Allen Law Firm Announces Scholarship Competition
MONTEREY, Calif. (PRWEB) February 07, 2018 -- Beginning this year, The Allen Law Firm will award a scholarship annually to the graduating high school student or current college student who is able to write the best short essay. The award given to the winner will be $1000, and it will be paid to the U.S. university of his or her choice and applied to his or her account the following academic year.
The topic of the essay will be based on personal injury law. The firm's website has many resources on the on the legal issues surrounding personal injury topics. The prompt is as follows:
"If you have either suffered a serious injury or suffer from a disability, please (1) describe the injury or disability; (2) describe how the injury or disability has affected your life; (3) tell us how you have worked to overcome the injury or disability, and (4) tell us how the injury or disability has affected your college plans."
To be eligible, students must be citizens of the United States and attending a college or university in the U.S. High school seniors and current college students who will still be in college the following year will all be considered.
