Advance Acceptance donates cash and dozens of personal care items to Pillsbury United Communities.
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (PRWEB) February 05, 2018 -- Advance Acceptance, a division of First Western Bank & Trust, recently partnered with Pillsbury United Communities to execute a corporate giving project during January, 2018.
"Pillsbury United Communities is grateful for the support of organizations like Advance Acceptance. These contributions allow us to continue providing assistance to families experiencing various challenges. We believe when people feel connected to their community through support like this, it leads to happier and healthier lives," said Brenna Brelie, chief of staff for Pillsbury United Communities.
The community event was organized by Melissa LeucaFiranek and Kelly Leuca. Advance Acceptance and First Western Bank & Trust employees have contributed to Pillsbury United Communities on a regular basis, but decided to do an organization-wide drive, for their annual corporate giving event.
"Pillsbury United Communities is an organization that helps struggling families get back-on-track. They've seen a decrease in contributions during 2017 and we decided to help," said Melissa LeucaFiranek, account manager for Advance Acceptance.
Advance Acceptance and First Western Bank & Trust employees were able to raise $430, along with personal care, hygiene products and winter clothing for families transitioning from homelessness to stability.
The dental office of Doctors Robert Derr and Amy Chi, also generously contributed over 50 tubes of toothpaste and other dental hygiene products for the corporate giving event.
Advance Acceptance staff will continue to donate time and goods to Pillsbury United Communities. Advance Acceptance urges other organizations and individuals to help this non-profit continue to provide valuable community aid to vulnerable members of the Twin Cities community.
Founded in 1972, Advance Acceptance provides national equipment finance and leasing services for leading brands across the United States. Advance Acceptance is a division of First Western Bank & Trust, of Minot, North Dakota.
