1910 Legacy Enterprises Created as Holding Company of White Electrical and Axis Energy
ATLANTA (PRWEB) February 07, 2018 -- With the support of employee owners and the Board of Directors, 1910 Legacy Enterprises, Inc. was formed on October 2, 2017 as the holding company of White Electrical Construction Company, Inc. and Axis Energy, Inc. All employees were invited to submit naming ideas for the new company, and the ultimate selection of 1910 Legacy Enterprises pays tribute to the historical roots of White Electrical that was founded by K.D. White in 1910.

The company will hold White Electrical and Axis Energy.”
1910 Legacy Enterprises is an employee-owned company, and all stock holders will be owners in this new entity. The new holding company is committed to the values passed down from White Electrical.

Jeff Filippo, President & CEO:
Jeff Filippo is President and CEO of 1910 Legacy Enterprises. With 34 years of experience in the electrical industry, Jeff brings excellent management and organizational skills to the company and its subsidiaries. Jeff joined White Electrical in 2000 and was promoted to higher level leadership positions over the years, ultimately being named President and CEO in 2014. With the support of the employee owners and the Board of Directors, Jeff oversaw the creation and launch of 1910 Legacy Enterprises in 2017.
With the creation of the holding company, Jeff became President and CEO of 1910 Legacy Enterprises and President of Axis Energy Inc. He is also a member of the 1910 Legacy Enterprises Board of Directors as well as the White Electrical and Axis Energy Boards of Directors. He is responsible for overall management of the companies including financial, operations and strategic planning. He is a participant in the ESOP Benefits Committee, Chairman’s Committee and Compensation Committee.
Jerry Brittendall, Managing Director of Business Development:
With more than 30 Years of Construction, Marketing, Management and Commercial Development Experience, Jerry brings a unique set of skills to 1910 Legacy Enterprises as the Managing Director of Business Development. He leads strategic planning and management of the Business Development functions on a Corporate Level. He manages all Business Development policies and personnel in all locations for the subsidiary companies of 1910 Legacy Enterprises.
Steve Saussy, Controller:
Steve Saussy serves as the Controller for 1910 Legacy Enterprises and oversees the accounting and finance functions for 1910 Legacy and its subsidiaries. A graduate of the University of Georgia and Georgia State University, Steve is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Georgia. Prior to joining 1910 Legacy and White Electrical, Steve spent 7 years working at public accounting firms working with clients in the construction and manufacturing industries.
