Latest Otus Release Allows Educators to Quickly Design Formative Assessments
CHICAGO (PRWEB) February 08, 2018 -- Otus, the edtech company that is transforming the way student performance data is used to promote student growth in K-12 school systems, today announced the release of Simple Assessment, a new way for teachers and administrators to create, assign, and analyze formative and summative assessments within its platform.
As school systems begin to implement standards-based grading, having easy methods to collective formative data is critical.

With the help of user feedback gathered during the fall of 2017, Otus now offers the following features:
Simple Assessment: a way for users to create a multiple choice, true/false, and short answer assessment, align each item to a learning standards, and assign it to whole classes, small groups, or individual students in minutes.
Advanced Assessment: a way for users to create assessments choosing from over 65 different technology-enhanced item types and from a research-based item bank with thousands of K-12 items.
Rubric Assessment: a way for users to us a rubric to do side-by-side grading of Google Docs, short student video clips, and more.
Enhanced K-12 Analytics: all of the assessment data gathered from any assessment can be viewed at the district, building, classroom, student group, individual student level and more.
