HappyGiant Announces REAL cARds™, Augmented Reality Greeting Cards for Apple's AR Devices
BOSTON (PRWEB) February 06, 2018 -- HappyGiant, an award-winning independent games studio and augmented reality leader, today announced their latest product, REAL cARds™, the first digital-only AR greeting card app and platform. Debuting just in time for Valentine's Day, the first cards are available through the free REAL cARds app in the iTunes App store. Additional card options will be added seasonally over time.
A pioneering developer of immersive experiences, HappyGiant's first AR game title, HoloGrid: Monster Battle, has launched across several leading platforms and was recently featured by Apple as "Game of the Day" – one of the first AR games to receive this distinction. HoloGrid brought creatures big and small to life in your world; on your tabletop, livingroom or backyard. REAL cARds leverages HappyGiant’s same underlying AR tools to bring to life cuddly teddy bears, flowers, hearts and more, for a new fun way to send greeting cards this Valentine’s Day.
HappyGiant sees AR greeting cards as a potential tipping point for introducing AR experiences to the mass market.

REAL cARds uses the tracking and depth-sensing abilities of Apple’s ARKit to animate 3D Teddy Bears and more in Augmented Reality, including a selection of accesories and a 3D Card with customizable messages. Recipients with newer ARKit-compatible devices can download the free app for the full experience. Recipients without compatible devices can enjoy a video representation shared via SMS or email.

• Multiple animated card sequences to choose from.
• Fully customizable. Choose Teddy Bear types, flowers and add a custom message (additional characters will be added over time).
• Send to friends and family as AR, or Video via SMS or email.
