Gateway Financial Partners Adds Two Advisors at Glastonbury Headquarters
Glastonbury, Conn. Joseph Santoro, Jr. of South Windsor and Michael Wheeler of Glastonbury joined the firm effective February 1st.

Wheeler brings a wealth of real-world, practical investment and wealth management experience to Gateway Financial Partners. He has been an investment advisor since February 2010 and has worked with numerous and diverse clients advising them on a wide variety of financial planning, investment management and wealth management consulting assignments. Prior to that, he was a partner in a privately held communications agency which he helped grow with two other partners into the largest such firm in its category in Connecticut prior to its sale in 2008. Wheeler has obtained his FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®). He holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Tex.

Santoro, Jr. brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry to Gateway Financial Partners. He specializes in assisting clients with education funding, retirement planning, investment management and estate conservation strategies. Prior to joining the firm, Santoro, Jr. held positions at other financial services companies. During his tenure with MetLife, has was a five time Leaders Conference Qualifier, one time Presidents Conference Qualifier and two time Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Qualifier. He holds the Series 6, 26 and 63 Securities licenses and obtained his Life Underwriting Training Council FellowSM (LUTCF®) designation from The American College. He is also an active volunteer with Junior Achievement of Southwest New England.
