Snowmass Base Village Residential Sales Off to a Strong Start in 2018

Residential sales have seen a recent surge at Snowmass Base Village, the $600 million collaboration between three Colorado-based players in the mountain resort business including East West Partners (EWP), Aspen Skiing Company (ASC) and KSL Capital Partners.

Since re-launching the Viceroy Residences in mid-December, The Viceroy has experienced a surge in sales with 27 residences either sold or under contract with sale pending. Viceroy Residences offer a wide selection of sizes depending on a family’s desires, with studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences - including a spacious three-bedroom penthouse with views of Capitol Peak.

The Viceroy Residences have undergone a $4 million renovation featuring the addition of Richard Sandoval’s Toro Latin Kitchen and Lounge, a new coffee bar and a complete revamp of the fitness area. This spring, there are plans for a re-imagining of Nest Bar and Restaurant to a new slopeside/poolside location to be completed this June.

Four of the 11 condominiums at the Limelight Residences Snowmass, mostly located on the top floor of the 99-room Limelight Hotel Snowmass, are under contract since launching sales in mid-January. The remaining two- and three-bedroom residences on the market at the Limelight Hotel Snowmass provide unparalleled access to the Elk Camp Gondola and Village Express chairlift and privileges at the Snowmass Mountain Club with skier valet services, lounge and social programming.

The Limelight Hotel Snowmass with its five-story climbing wall will be complete in November 2018. Snowmass Village will be the third location for this successful hotel brand with other locations in the ski resorts of Aspen, CO and Ketchum, ID.

Also on track for completion in winter 2018, the Base Village public plaza showcases an ice rink that turns into a summer events lawn, pop-up children’s fountains, and expanded retail and dining.
