Portland Artist “Stuart” Wins Big at International Film Festival
PORTLAND, Ore. (PRWEB) February 09, 2018 -- The documentary "A New End" is a raw and deeply personal view of local musician Stuart's experience as a mature artist. The film tells the story of a man committed to a life-long dream as he approaches his sixth decade with a finesse that won both Best Short Documentary and Best Editing of a Short Documentary at the Milan International Film Festival.
“A New End” was produced over a three month period, during which Stuart released an album, finished another album, and prepared for a headlining show at the Aladdin Theater for his first performance in 18 years. Exploring Stuart's lifelong battle with addictions adds yet another layer to the story, as by the Aladdin concert Stuart had just finished his third and final therapy to end his 45-year journey with Hepatitis C.
On the recent wins, Stuart stated:
“It’s very humbling to see your story and to know that “Act2” is waiting for you. Still, you never know the end of the story…stay tuned.”
The documentary is available for viewing for free on http://www.Stuart.FM today. Stuart has just released his newest album, “Dare to Disturb,” available now wherever music is sold. He has begun his next record and he has already begun planning for the creation of his second short film.
