CANCUN, RIVIERA MAYA, and QUINTANA ROO, Mexico (PRWEB) February 20, 2018
Experiencias Xcaret, a tourism destination in Cancún and the Riviera Maya, will be opening a new adventure park this winter. The park will cost almost $38 million and will add another exciting adventure experience to Experiencias Xcaret’s offerings, said Xcaret Vice President Carlos Constandse Madrazo.
More details of the new park will be announced throughout the year. It will also be adding to its Xplor adventure park in 2018 with a new attraction.
The group is recognized as one of the most important sustainable tourism recreation organizations in Mexico, Constandse said. Cancún, where the parks are located, is the No. 1 tourist destination in Mexico.
With the addition of a new park, Experiencias Xcaret will be comprised of seven theme parks: Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xenses, Xoximilco and its newest adventure park. They also operate the Xenotes and Xichén tours, which are luxury tours that visit archaeological sites in the region. Hotel Xcaret México brings in an All-Fun Inclusive™ element that includes admission to every attraction Xcaret has to offer included with your stay at the resort.
“We are so excited to see our organization continue to grow,” said Constandse. He added that investments in the improvement of facilities and attractions in 2017 totaled $28 million. Experiencias Xcaret brought in more than 3.3 million visitors in 2017, an increase of more than 9 percent over the previous year.
Constandse said that they expect over 3.5 million visitors in 2018, which would mark a new record for the organization.
