RE/MAX Realtor Lisa Taylor Helps Kids Find Success Through Lacrosse
DENVER (PRWEB) February 13, 2018 -- RE/MAX of Cherry Creek Realtor Lisa Taylor will for the second consecutive year be supporting and participating in the Denver City Lax Mile High Gala on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at the Sports Authority Field at Mile High - United Club. This is the signature event to kick off the 2018 lacrosse season.
“It was such a huge success last year, so this year we’re trying to continue to support the inner city kids in Denver,” said Taylor, who also donates to the fundraising event every year. “City Lax empowers Denver youth who might not otherwise have the chance to play organized sports.”
The mission of the Denver City Lax is to raise funds and create educational and enrichment opportunities for youth in underserved Denver neighborhoods through the sport of lacrosse. The money raised helps fund athletic equipment, training camps, and mentoring by professional lacrosse players.
“The goal is to deliver health, character and leadership skills that lead to academic success and positive social outcomes,” noted Taylor.
This spring the first City Lax participant graduates college. She will do so as an All-American on the field and in the classroom.
