THE GLAMOUROUS and SCENARIO are two international revolutionary stages where innovation, research, creativity and experimentation will play a leading role, as two windows in which up-and-coming brands will be able to present their creations within an international setting.
THE GLAMOUROUS is a project sponsored by Camera Italiana Buyer Moda that represents an innovative point of conjunction between top influential Italian buyers and emerging designers. The participating buyers represent the most relevant voices as fashion trend forecasters. Each of their stores will present different yet cohesive styles united by a shared, contemporary view of the leather accessory world.
For THE GLAMOUROUS, buyers endorse four trendy designers, giving visibility to their collections in a dedicated area of the trade show as well as in their own stores’ shopping windows. In this edition, the names of the prestigious buyers participating in the project are: Cose’s Elisabetta Giannini from Cremona, who is presenting the unusual styles of Giorgia Baiocco; Eleonora Bonucci from Viterbo, who is supporting the 3D bags of Maissa; Giorgia Tropea of the Catania store Gigi Tropea, and lastly Stilmoda’s Maria Teresa Viadotto from Lignano Sabbiadoro, who will unveil her designer choice in a few days.
SCENARIO represents the most alternative platform of the show, with a focus on new brands and the most research-oriented proposals in the accessory landscape. A special section within the area, established thanks to the collaboration with the Italian National Chamber of Fashion, will promote and support the meeting between world-renowned Italian creativity and foreign markets, along with the involvement of four international buyers to sponsor the most interesting, new Italian designers. For the February edition, the buyers will be: Tokyo’s Parigot, presenting the talisman jewels of Eden Diodati; Osaka’s Concento supporting the ecochic cork handbags of Silvia Massacesi; the Hyundai Department Store in Seoul, showcasing the creative handbags of The Dots; and Wizwid, the Korean online store, proposing the wooden handbags by Woobag.
