Golf Academy of America Attends PGA Merchandise Show
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (PRWEB) February 12, 2018 -- Golf Academy of America announced today that representatives from the school attended the 2018 PGA Merchandise Show, which took place January 24 - 26 in Orlando, Florida.
The school's three representatives at the show were Golf Academy of America President Jordan Stein, National Director of Operations Steve Newman and Campus President in Orlando Brad Turner. The attendees perused the exhibits and met with many key partners, vendors and employers.
The PGA Merchandise Show features almost 1,000 vendors from across the golf industry, showcasing equipment, clothing, technology and more. For Golf Academy of America, this presented an opportunity to reconnect with old partners and create new ones, uncovering as many opportunities as possible for current students, campuses and alumni.
"The PGA Show provides a tremendous opportunity to connect with key leaders, partners, employers and technology providers," said Newman. "This ensures our students are getting the best education and training possible to advance in the golf industry."
Among the technology providers that Golf Academy of America met with were V1 Sports and K-Vest. Newman reported that the school is working with Golf Academy of America alumnus Steve Pelletier, Director of U.S. Sales at K-Vest, to potentially unroll K-Vest's newest platform to its students.
The Golf Academy of America representatives also met with partners at the Veteran Golfers Association and Tee It Up for the Troops to plan event collaborations for the remainder of 2018.
In addition, the representatives were able to connect with alumni who attend the event. The school plans to have a presence again at the PGA Merchandise Show in 2019.
