The Vestibular Dysfunction Across the Life Span Conference, in Partnership with Dell Children’s Medical Center, Announce Dr. James Kemper as Keynote Speaker
AUSTIN, Texas (PRWEB) March 02, 2018 -- 360 Balance & Hearing Center and 360 Neuro Health Institute, in collaboration with Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas, will host the Vestibular Dysfunction Across the Life Span Conference in Austin, Texas, at the Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4.
The two-day program encourages education and discussion, bringing together an influential array of experts, practitioners, and innovators from a range of specialties who will discuss the latest knowledge and technology regarding diagnosing and treating dizziness and balance disorders. By emphasizing the importance of a multi-disciplinary approach, the Vestibular Conference aims to emphasize the utilization of subjective and objective findings to formulate a working diagnosis and determine the most appropriate care plan, including identification when additional referrals/tests are needed.
“This conference addresses vestibular disorders across the lifespan and, most importantly, shares an intra-disciplinary approach,” said James Kemper, MD, Keynote Speaker of the Vestibular Conference. “Overall, vestibular disorders are poorly understood. It requires a network of specialty providers to ensure patients are accurately diagnosed and effectively treated.”
The Program Planning Committee has assembled a faculty with renowned clinical experts to provide opportunities for approved continuing education. The material is presented in a manner to support evidence-based medicine and introduce critical thinking skills in the diagnostic process.
Keynote Speaker Dr. James Kemper will present on Saturday, March 3rd. Dr. Kemper is an otolaryngologist and has concentrated exclusively on diseases of the ear and skull base, in patients from infancy through adulthood. Dr. Kemper’s broad experience in managing hearing and balance disorders includes chronic ear disease/infection, management of vertigo and Meniere’s syndrome, tumors of the ear and brainstem as well as cochlear implantation and other hearing implants.

“Patients with dizziness and balance disorders are often misunderstood resulting in multiple visits without an accurate diagnosis or appropriate care plan which hinders their recovery,” said Bridgett Wallace, PT, DPT. “This conference can help bridge the gap between the marked progress in the evaluation and management of dizziness and delayed and/or inaccurate delivery of care.”
