Guests will also have the opportunity to embark on private teak schooner charter for a four-day private cruise to Komodo Island to see the famous Komodo dragons in their natural habitat.

Living the High Life: Maldives and Dubai
Geared toward couples celebrating major anniversaries, birthdays, or other occasions, this elite nine-day itinerary encompasses five-star luxury in the Maldives and Dubai, an ideal mix of a city and beach vacation. In the Maldives, guests will stay at one of the five-star properties on the stunning Kaafu Atoll where they will enjoy aquatic adventure and relaxation, including scuba diving, snorkeling, cruising, and kayaking in crystal clear waters; visitors can also avail themselves of beachside yoga, a seaplane flight above the Maldives’ 1,190 islands, pampering spa treatments, private dinners under the stars, and more. After five days of island romance and adventure, guests will move on to the glitzy city of Dubai, where they will check-in to one of the top hotels in the world. From this luxurious home base, travelers will explore the City of Gold, taking in both its colorful past and dynamic present. Highlights include visiting the Burj Khalifa, the tallest man-made structure in the world; an exclusive, private seaplane ride over the city, and a romantic Lobster & Caviar evening cruise aboard a luxury yacht. Romance, Relaxation, and Renewal in Cambodia
Perfect for couples celebrating anniversaries or vow renewals, this 11-day romantic itinerary explores Cambodia’s highlights and treasures and embraces the Angkor culture, history, and landscapes. The enchanting trip begins with a visit to the capital Siem Reap, home to the country’s most impressive ancient temples and ruins, including the iconic Angkor Wat, a magical backdrop for renewing marital vows Khmer-style. Adorned in Khmer wedding dress and surrounded by ancient Angkorian music, couples can exchange vows and receive auspicious blessings from a monk in the middle of an intimate ancient temple experience. The rest of the day can be spent in blissful leisure or with a visit to a Khmer dance school to watch students perform a traditional dance, before indulging in a lavish multi-course dinner. Other highlights of the itinerary include a cruise down the mighty Mekong River; swimming and snorkeling in the warm tropical waters of Song Saa Private Island; and viewing tropical birds and other wildlife while hiking through the rainforest.

Birthday Bashes Across Asia
For those looking to celebrate a major birthday with an over-the-top vacation surrounded by all their friends and family, Remote Lands can arrange exclusive buyouts with top hotels throughout Asia. For the adventurous, Sujan Jawai in India offers an unrivaled glamping experience where guests stay in plush tents and wild leopards, spotted cats, and birds roam the grounds. Groups can take customized 4x4s on a nature safari, walk through rural Indian villages, and enjoy picnics in the wilderness. Adventurous travelers can also opt for the luxury tents of Aman-i-Khas in Ranthambore National Park, a wildlife sanctuary and one of the best places in the world to spot Bengal tigers. Parties can spend their days on tiger safaris and their evenings dining on Indian-Western fusion meals by the communal outdoor fireplace. For groups that like to hike, Amankora Thimphu in Bhutan offers travelers the chance to experience Bhutan’s incredible landscapes and the Himalaya’s snow-capped peaks, as well as the iconic Tiger’s Nest monastery, with accommodations in 16 identical luxury rooms.

For birthday parties that are focused on relaxation, the Tenku no Mori resort in Japan is nestled into a forest overlooking the volcanic mountains of Kagoshima. Aptly translating to “heaven in the sky,” the resort boasts panoramic views of the lush forest through floor-to-ceiling windows. With only five rooms, this intimate getaway is for groups looking to relax in Japanese style, complete with private hot-springs and open-air baths and spas. Another remote Japanese relaxation option Remote Lands offers is the Tsukihi-Tei ryokan which is set in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Kasugayama Primeval Forest, a preserved sacred area in Nara. With just three rooms, this minimalistic ryokan is one of the most intimate and peaceful in all of Japan.

Avid skiers will enjoy celebrating their winter birthday in a luxury Japanese ski chalet in Niskeo surrounded by powdery white snow and ideal skiing conditions. To recover from a long day on the slopes, guests can enjoy a soak in one of the area’s many onsens (Japanese hot springs). Non-skiers will also have more than enough to keep them occupied with après-ski offerings, comfortable living areas, warm fireplaces, and Japanese culture in nearby villages.

Family Reunions in the Maldives
For high-end family reunions of up to 12 guests, Remote Lands can arrange renting out the decadent Coco Privé island in the Maldives, a 150,000-square-foot private island paradise complete with well-appointed villas, a private chef to make customized meals suited to each guest’s personalized preferences, unlimited diving access along with a variety of other aquatic activities, off-island excursions, and pampering in the spa.
