The new Media MASSter 102 PRO IT provides an economical, high performance, and versatile portable device for IT departments' most demanding data acquisition, analysis and duplication tasks. The unit's clever implementation integrates a powerful Intel CPU, advanced 6 Gb/s SATA-3 controller technology, PCIe M.2 support, three each dedicated SATA and USB ports, and the hardware necessary to future-proof the system affording IT users the ability to take advantage of new media and disk drive speed improvements over many years. The system combines these capabilities with advanced Duplication technology to Capture and Wipe drives simultaneously, acquire from multiple source and deliver to multiple target drives in any combination needed, and can incorporate a universal media card reader accessory which allows multiple media cards to be duplicated to a single disk. Data is quickly acquired at speeds over 20 GB/min for SATA devices, and 70GB/min for NVMe drives.
The Media MASSter 102 PRO IT offers "Mixed Drive Interface" support to cover the range of devices IT organizations encounter and allows easy acquisition of data between different drive interface types. Each portable system supports three SATA, two eSATA, and four USB 3.0 drives with optional adapters being available to support M.2, SAS, IDE, and Micro SATA drives including 2.5" and 1.8" IDE notebook drives and flash media. Additionally, the unit is configured with two 1Gb/s Ethernet ports for acquisition and image management over a network.
The Media MASSter 102 PRO IT also offers innovative features to lower the day to day operational cost of the IT duplication process. The unit's M.2 Adapter Module supports varying M.2 form factor lengths of 30, 42, 60, 80 and 110 mm and is designed for easy and safe insertion and release of M.2 storage devices, an integrated HDMI display port allows external monitoring, and cable-free source and target slide-out drive caddy-based system speeds installing and removing drives.
