The Olitus Corporation Presents iiShakers: The Illuminated Shaker
BEND, Ore. (PRWEB) February 20, 2018 -- On February 22, 2018, Olitus will present iiShakers to an audience of nearly 300 angel investors, venture capital firms, local businesses, and peers at EDCO’s Central Oregon PubTalk. PubTalk is a monthly event aimed at bringing together the business community in a friendly, pub setting to network, share ideas, and further local businesses. The primary purpose of the Olitus presentation is to connect with potential resources.
“We are excited to introduce iiShakers in America's #1 Best-Performing City,” said Curt Naumann, Olitus founder. “And [we] are looking forward to partnering with local investors, restaurants, and diners to study and confirm our hypothesis that iiShakers add value to fine dining."
With a desire to replace inferior approaches to supplemental tabletop lighting (e.g. burning candles and cell phone lights), Olitus has patented a convenient, on-demand lighting system built into tabletop shakers for use in fine dining restaurants that take advantage of mood lighting.
Welcome to iiShakers!
As soon as iiShakers are picked up, the sides begin to glow, adding a never seen before ambiance to the dining experience. iiShakers can be programmed to display over 16 million colors to complement the restaurant’s decor and to ornament tables with festive colors associated with holidays and events.
At the same time that iiShakers are being picked up, a bottom flashlight turns on so you can read both the menu and the check.
As iiShakers are tipped for pouring, the bottom flashlight turns off so you don’t blind others in the restaurant, a common complaint of cell phone use, and a top flashlight turns on so you can see how much salt and pepper are being delivered and where it’s landing.
An added feature of iiShakers is the ServerAlert System that benefits both restaurants and diners. When iiShakers are tapped twice, a visual alert is produced to get your server’s attention. Tap twice again and iiShakers go back to normal operations.
For those watching their sodium intake, iiShakers feature a SodiumAlert System. After a few seconds of pouring, iiShakers' sidelights change color to yellow, and after a few more seconds to red, to warn of excess usage.
The whole systems is fully automated. There are no switches or buttons to press. You just pick it up and it works.
v2.0 of iiShakers will include a patented, built-in magnifying glass so no more having to grab for reading glasses to read printed materials. v2.0 will also include integrated Bluetooth networking to connect iiShakers to the restaurant’s Point of Sale (POS) system and diners' smart phones.
Olitus has partnered with E::SPACE Labs, LLC, an electrical design and prototyping company, based in Bend, OR, to provide “quick turnaround” prototypes in support of the upcoming value testing.

Olitus is beginning a search for full service restaurants to value test iiShakers. By purchasing iiShakers to test on their tables, restaurants will be directly influencing the "go to market" version plus being the first to "serve up" iiShakers to customers. Early adopter restaurants will also benefit from usage exclusivity during the testing phase and will receive discounts on new versions of iiShakers when they become generally available.
