FEI to Present at NARENWICH and Alliance Senior Leadership Conferences
MILWAUKEE (PRWEB) February 13, 2018 -- FEI Behavioral Health, a social enterprise with a 35-year history and a leader in workforce resilience from EAP and organizational development to workplace violence prevention and crisis management, will present sessions at two upcoming conferences: The 2018 National At-Risk Education Network Wisconsin Chapter (NARENWICH) Annual Conference and the 2018 Alliance for Strong Families and Communities (Alliance) Senior Leadership Conference.
The NARENWICH Conference runs Feb. 22-23 at the Kalahari Resort, Wisconsin Dells, Wis. FEI Business Solutions Engineer Raquelle Solon will be presenting the session “Is the Way You Communicate Affecting Behavior” on Feb. 22, 2018, at 10:45 a.m. CST.
The session will explore how individuals communicate, trauma-informed approaches to communication and the communication tools at-risk youth use to express themselves and meet their needs. Participants will explore strategies to incorporate a trauma-informed approach to interventions utilized, ultimately allowing them to communicate in ways that provide dignity and respect.
The Alliance Senior Leadership Conference runs Feb. 24-27 at the New Orleans Marriot, New Orleans, La. Solon also will present the workshop “Lessons in Leadership: Managing Work-Life Balance” on Feb. 25, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. CST.
The workshop will help leaders in the social sector learn to reduce stress by incorporating balance into their lives. Participants will learn what prevents individuals from achieving work life balance, specific techniques for managing stress, strategies for self-care, and the risks and rewards for successful leadership.
In addition to presenting at both conferences, FEI will also be exhibiting at the NARENWICH Conference and will serve as an Alliance Conference sponsor.
Solon is responsible for helping organizations determine and implement a holistic crisis management system. She also is responsible for the delivery of workplace violence prevention, leadership development, and crisis management trainings, and is experienced in reviewing current training and policies and procedures to identify gaps and work with clients towards a solution. Solon was named “Woman of the Year” for 2012-2013 by the National Association of Professional Women.
