Child's Birthday Wish Comes True Thanks to Local Attorney
GREENVILLE, S.C. (PRWEB) February 14, 2018 -- Landen Shell had one birthday wish: to meet the man he'd seen on TV. The man who captured the now 4-year-old's heart wasn't a famous actor, sports star or cartoon hero: it was attorney George Sink.

Not everyone was on board with a lawyer-themed children's party, at least not at first. Landen's grandmother said, "A George Sink Party? Get out of here. That's no party for a kid!" but then she spoke with Landen and Landen's mother. She could see the passion little Landen had for celebrating his birthday with a George Sink party. Landen's mom said: "No, really, he's serious about it!" That's when Landen's grandmother knew she had to make the call and ask for George Sink's help.
When Mr. Sink got the call he loved the idea of joining Landen to celebrate. "I was honored. I was moved. There's nothing better than making a child's day." Mr. Sink said, "I couldn't wait to meet Landen and wish him a happy 4th birthday!"
Landen's mother got George Sink cupcakes for the kids and giant "all 9s" balloons. The law firm supplied gifts for the kids - backpacks, water bottles, T-shirts, signed pictures of Mr. Sink - and even little red ties, like attorney Sink wears, for the kids. Landen loved it. Landen got to play lawyer George Sink and eat "all 9s" cake, which is exactly what he wanted on his special day.
Only one thing could have made it better, a visit from his idol, attorney George Sink. Little Landen was overjoyed to see his hero in person, jumping up into his arms and yelling "George Sink!" with joy.
Landen's mom, Daniette Shell, said "I am happy George could make it. He really did make Laden's birthday wish come true." Landen said "thank you, George Sink!"
"The party was a great success," said George Sink Sr. "I was just happy I could wish him a happy birthday in person. I wanted to show up because it's just touching, it's heartwarming, and I wanted to be here. It makes me happy to know that I made Landon's 4th birthday one that he'll always remember," said George Sink, Sr.
